He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mack Spencer and Effie Spencer; his sister Odessa Cox; his wife Linda Spencer; his sons, David Spencer of Plainview and Todd Spencer (Heather Spencer) of Danville; his siblings, Lucille Hooser (John A. Hoover) and Tommy Joe Spencer (Deloris); his grandchildren, Katelyn, Nathane Hodges, Cameron, Elizabeth Spencer, Lauren Spencer, Meghan, Samuel Gillespie and Sophie Spencer; his great grandchild Huxley Hodges; his adoptive son Roy Treadwell; and his mother-in-law Mildred Cunningham. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and friends.
