He is survived by: his wife Dixie; his grandmother Gossett Hood; his former wife Kathy Hood; his children, Sherri DeAnn Hood Carroll (Ronnie) of Jessieville, Deidre Thurman (Chris) of Plainview and Jared Keeney Hood of Rogers; his grandchildren, Tyler Carroll (Jessica Whitlow Carroll), Christopher Thurman of Plainview, Stephany Carroll Smith (Willias Smith) of Hot Springs, Adrianna Thurman of Plainview and Reagan Carroll Oliver of Jessieville; his great grandchildren, MaKayla Smith, Abigale Carroll, MaKenzie, Avery, Zoey Smith, Gabriel Carroll, Hattie Thurman, Gideon Carroll, Cash Oliver, Lucille Haney and Magdalene Carroll; and his siblings, Ervinlene Breshears, Jerry Hood, Ray Hood, Helen Warren, Ronald Hood, Joyce Bonner, Wayne Hood and Kay Jackson.
