It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oliver Dempsey Cook of Pineville, Arkansas, born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on March 6, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Rick Cook; his parents, Rosetta Henry Dailey and Oliver Richard Cook; and his siblings, Joe Cook of Quanita Cook, H. W, Shirley Henry, Charlene Henry, Judy Henry and Nicky Dailey.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Cook; his children, Mike Cook (Pat) of Jonesboro and Marla Layne (Skip) of Jordan; his daughter-in-law Pam Cook of El Dorado; his grandchildren, Paige Eddinger Dana Denis (Ryan) of Jonesboro, Crystal Cline (Jeff) of Jonesboro, Chip Layne (Ashley) of Mammoth Spring, Taylon Steele (Daniel) of El Dorado and Jared Cook of Hot Springs; his great grandchildren, Whitlee Layne, Kelsea Cline, Kaitlyn Cline, Luke Denis, Eva Cook, Sutton Steele and Gabe Steele; his great great grandchild Coleson Brown; and his great grandchildren, Chip Layne, Taylor Layne, Jared Cook, Brayden Denis and Drake Brown.
