He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Wheelington and Marie Jones Wheelington. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Barbaree Wheelington; his daughter Rhonda Dunavant (Harry) of Little Rock; and his brother Leroy Wheelington (Corrine) of Texarkana, AR. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
