Samuel Manuel Owens Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Manuel Owens of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenora Crowder and Manuel Owens; his wife Frankie Lucille Owens; his sister Irene James; his uncle Johnny Taggart; and his aunts, Mary Lynch and Mamie Webster.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Owens, Fern Bowers of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Timothy Owens (Tomeica), Manuel Owens and Samuel B. Owens of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and his sister Galena Lee of Topeka. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (2704 Commerce Cir, Pine Bluff, AR 71601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Ministries Church (912 S Catalpa St, Pine Bluff, AR 71603).
He enjoyed donating to Salvation Army, St. Jude, Girl Scout, Boys Scout and other charities monthly.
