It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronnie Cates of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ronnie has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dennis Cates and Betty Cates; his daughter Kirbi Cates of Alexander, Arkansas; his siblings-in-law, Tim Ratcliff of Carthage, Texas and Kim Cates of Longview; and his close friends, Kelli Kelley, Cari Cates, Tommy Palmer, Drake Palmer, Stacy Haynes, Denny Teeter and John Possum Prince. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the J. A. Funk Funeral Home (318 S Ash St, Malvern, AR 72104).
