He was predeceased by: his parent Daisy Gibson (O'Neal); his stepfather Jack Gibson; his grandparents, Walter and Myrtle O'neal; his siblings, Allison O'Neal, Daisy Roberts, Barbara Lynn Gibson, Gwendolyn E. Paschal, Jeanette Woodfolk, Larry Collins, David Collins and Mark Gibson; and his nephew Ashton Hollien.

He is survived by: his siblings, Kelvin Gibson, Jackie Gibson and Patricia O'Neal; and his stepsister Midget Gibson. He is also survived by many family members and friends.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Jackson Memorial Chapel.
