He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Jean Hunter; his daughter Mildred Ann Hunter; his siblings, Fulton Westmoreland, Georgia Hall and Joyce Urquhart; his parents, Mildred Ann Hunter and Marcus James Hunter Sr.; and his grandparents, Gertrude, James Hunter, Versie and Walter Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Frazier (Mildred Meachem), Cynthia Hunter-Hart (William) of Jacksonville, Adrienne Hunter (Fallon Hunter), Chiquita Hunter of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Marcus Hunter III (Jeanette) of Milwaukee, Keenan Hunter of Shreveport and Travis Johnson of Ft. Worth, Texas; his stepchildren, Anthony Mosby of Milwaukee, Tina Mosby of Milwaukee and Sheyr Shelley (William) of Redfield, Arkansas; his aunt Jewel L. Williams; and his siblings, Mary Lee Johnson (Big Sis) of Milwaukee, WI, Edmond McClinton Sr. (ED) of Pine Bluff, AR and Willie C. McClinton (Doris Jean) of Oakland, California. He is also survived by 51 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Paradise Funeral Home (612 W 5th Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church (900 S Grant St, Pine Bluff, AR 71601).
