It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luretha Gray of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Luretha departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Luretha. Though Luretha may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Mabry and Rosie Wiley-Mabry; and her grandchildren, Debbie Moss and LaKeith Shepherd. She is survived by: her significant other Evan Gray Sr.; and her children, Billie Tate (Donald), Joyce Shepherd (Larry) of Pine Bluff, Rosie Nichols (Ralph) of Houston, Texas, Velma Gray of Little Rock, Arkansas., Evan Gray (Irene), Levern Gray of Grady, Arkansas and Alvin Gray of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; fourteen great great grandchildren.
