It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kelvin Lee Gibson (Pine Bluff, Arkansas), who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Gibson and Daisy Gibson; his grandparents, Walter and Myrtle O'Neal; his siblings, Gwendolyn Paschal, Myrtle J. O'Neal-Woolfolk, Allison O'Neal, Daisy Roberts, Barbara Lynn O'Neal, Lisa Porter, Larry Collins, Ray O'Neal, Mark Gibson and David Gibson; and his nephews, Ashton Hollien and Kyrek Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Gabrielle D. Yarbough of Houston, Texas, Bishara D. Gibson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Spc; his granddaughters, Kelsea D. Yarbough of Houston, Texas and Kasey R. Perkins of Houston, Texas; and his siblings, Patricia O'Neal, Jackie Gibson, Melvin Gibson and Chris Harris.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church (900 S Grant St, Pine Bluff, AR 71603). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (6219 Princeton Pike, White Hall, AR 71602).
