He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Ann Koenig; his pet Sam I Am Koenig; his parents, Claude Koenig, Sr. and Frances Louella Green Koenig; and his brothers, Claude Koenig, Jr. and Jake Koenig.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Roe (Bob), Jo Ellen McPherson (David), Margie Busbey (Buzz), Leslie McCarty (George) and Kyle Koenig (Erin). He is also survived by 5 children, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and 2 sisters.
