It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Walter Koenig of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, born in Indianola, Mississippi, who passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Joseph's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Joseph's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.

He was predeceased by : his wife Nancy Ann Koenig; his pet Sam I Am Koenig; his parents, Claude Koenig, Sr. and Frances Louella Green Koenig; and his brothers, Claude Koenig, Jr. and Jake Koenig.

He is survived by : his children, Kelly Roe (Bob), Jo Ellen McPherson (David), Margie Busbey (Buzz), Leslie McCarty (George) and Kyle Koenig (Erin). He is also survived by 5 children, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors (807 S Cherry St, Pine Bluff, AR 71601).
