In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joseph's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Lewis and Clydie B. Lewis; and his siblings, Hewitt B. Lewis, Edward Lewis and Laverne Lewis.
He is survived by: his significant other Linda Bateman of Pine Bluff, AR; his children, Damon Lewis of Little Rock, AR, Zoe Brisco of New Orleans, LA, Atavia Louis of Teaneck, Tameka Lewis of Pine Bluff, AR and Alindria Carroll Jordan; and his sister Vivian L. Ward (Bob) of West Covina, CA. He is also survived by sons and daughters; and all grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (2704 Commerce Cir, Pine Bluff, AR 71601). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
