We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2025, at the age of 92, John Henry Coleman of Pine Bluff, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wives, Jettie Coleman-Wisemon and Inez Grice-Coleman; his children, Samuel Lee Coleman and Ashley Coleman; his grandson Dequeon Neal; and his stepson James Grice.
He is survived by: his children, Monte Coleman (Yvette), Wayne Coleman (Janice), Paulette McDonald (Wyvonne) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Bernard Coleman (Sheila) of Missouri City, Texas, Cedric Coleman (Michelle) of Houston, Texas, Lorne Coleman of Houston, Texas and Arrick Coleman of Amarillo, Texas; and his stepchildren, Ronnie Grice (Cheryl) of Manhattan, Kansas, Robin Taylor of Little Rock, Arkansas, Rochelle Reid of Forrest Park, Illinois, Richard Hearn of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Robert Peyton of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Robbie Peyton of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Sidney Heard of Benton, Arkansas and Anita Murray of Grand Prairie, Texas. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and beloved friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (2704 Commerce Cir, Pine Bluff, AR 71601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Union Missionary Baptist Church (609 E 24th Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71601).
