Joan Harris Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Harris of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Harris to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James J. Shoop and Willie Bell West Shoop; her husband James Calvin "J. C." Harris, Jr.; her siblings, William Howard Shoop and Barbara Dell Sipes; and her half-sisters, Evalee Tennison and Admar Duckett.
She is survived by: her children, David Harris (Janet) and Sandi Metz (Steve); and her grandchildren, Jamie Harris (Rebekah), Steven Harris and Kelli Tommey (Will). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Since flowers have such a short earthly lifespan, the family requests memorials be made to Pine Bluff First Assembly, 1002 Ridgway Road, Pine Bluff, AR 71603, so that through their ministries, others will have the opportunity to join her in Heaven.
