He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Charlie Nance, Jr.; his brother Larry Nance, Sr.; his wife Brenda Nance; his mother Sadie Lee Nance; and his siblings, Jerald Nance, Charles E. Nance (Carolyn), Terry Nance Gill, Lorri Nance Thornton (Steven) and Julia Faye Nance McCampbell. He was also cherished by five sons and four daughters.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Paradise Funeral Home (3705 W 6th Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71603). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church (900 S Grant St, Pine Bluff, AR 71601).
