He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Elvis Douthit, Sr. and Grace Emoline Ballew Douthit; his wives, Evy Douthit, Daisy Ann Douthit and Betty Clark-Rowe Douthit; his children, Melvin Tindall, David Douthit and Cathy Wilson; and his siblings, Delbert E. Douthit, Jr. and Betty Jean Humphreys.
He is survived by: his children, Gordon Bennett of Redfield, Clyde Douthit (Nancy) of Pine Bluff, Wade Douthit (Debbie) of Springdale, Carol Lynn Van Note of Richmond, VA, Tere Batt (Robert) of Council Bluffs, IA, Terri Burt (Ray) of Pine Bluff and Carolyn Baskins (Bruce) of Little Rock; his son-in-law Billy Wilson; and his siblings, Cora Belle Humphreys of Watson, AR and Harold Dean Douthit (Joyce) of Watson, AR. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
