She was predeceased by: her parents, Lottie Mae Scales and James Parker; and her siblings, Cleophus, Leroy, Leonard Charles and Irene.
She is survived by: her siblings, Altha Bryant (Juanita) of Altheimer, Arkansas, Betty Brewer of England and Joan James (John) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and her nieces, Dana Woolfolk of Pine Bluff and Monica Ficklin (Steve) of Prosper, Texas.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and esteemed friends.
Over the years, when a few of her close friends decided to seek elected offices, Girtha hit the ground running by actively campaigning and requesting donations—a task she thoroughly enjoyed.
