He was predeceased by: his parents, A. B. Rushing, Sr. and Allie Belle Garner Rushing; and his siblings, Buddy Rushing, J. T. Rushing, Emmer Jean Lawrence, Christine Wiley, Havis Rushing, Michael Wayne Rushing and Roger Dale Rushing.
He is survived by: his daughter Jamey Rushing Tice (Josh); his granddaughters, Jacey Tice, Jessa Tice and Jovie Tice; and his sisters, Shirley Beatty, Trish Rushing Carpenter (Dale) and Charlotte Best. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
