He is survived by: his wife Velda Spring Butt; his children, Karen West (Jason) and Daniel Butt (Ashlyn); his half-sister Bridgette Butt Homer; his grandchildren, Cheyenne West, Meagan West, Logan Hawkins and Gharett Hawkins; and his great grandchildren, Nevaeh Morehead of Jackson Morehead, L. J, Broggan Hawkins and Remy Hawkins.
