We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2024, at the age of 99, Evon Collins (Pine Bluff, Arkansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Evon departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Evon. Though Evon may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband John D. "J. D." Collins of Pine Bluff; her parents, Edmund Ray Arledge and Arlene Graham Arledge; and her brother Ray Arledge of Pine Bluff. She is survived by: her children, Janet Dee Stone, Joseph Barry Collins and Elissa Rae Collins; and her grandchildren, James Cecil Drosche, Jr., Erika DeeAnn Stone and Lilly RaeAnn Collins. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Graceland Cemetery (2122 W Pullen Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71601).
