She is survived by: her children, Nicole Wendler (Duane), Erin Zehner (Christopher), Ryan Petersen (Carlo) and Brad Verbruggen; her stepson Trevor Leopold; her grandchildren, Porsche, Grant, Maxine, Charity, Elsie, Bayley, Sanne and Axlan; her siblings, Gary Schadrie (Carol), Pat Schadrie (Ann), Jim VerKuilen (Connie), Carol Konkle (Jack), Bonnie Calmes (Bob), David VerKuilen (Jerry), Mary Zenisek (Rich), John VerKuilen (Mary Jo), Margaret Storey (Rich), Ted VerKuilen (Beth) and Roseann Olsen (Jerry); and her brother-in-law Robert Anderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Diane's name to help the family with funeral costs.
