He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Henderson Dunlap and Missie Dunlap (Massey); his siblings, Willie Lee Dunlap, Van Henderson Dunlap, Quinton Dunlap, Emma Lue Dunlap-Johnson, Joseph Dunlap, Ecclesiastes Dunlap, Naomi Dunlap Hudson, Ruby Dunlap and Johnny Lee Dunlap; his grandchildren, Kera Dunlap, Angurnette Creggett and Kaleia Grant; and his great grandchildren, O'Marion Creggett, Joshua Wheeler II and Sabria Culclager.
He is survived by: his wife Lorene Dunlap of Pine Bluff, AR.; his children, Leatha Mae Turner (Dennis) of Little Rock, AR., Edward Dunlap, Jr. (Cynthia) of Woodson, AR., Hazel Dunlap Creggett of Pine Bluff, AR., Lisa Mitchell (Eddie) of San Antonio, TX., Leonard Dunlap (Marie) of Little Rock, AR. and Veola Gail Dunlap; and his siblings, Ulyesses Dunlap, Sr. of Altheimer, AR., Erma Hudson of Pine Bluff, AR., Endoice Boyd of Pine Bluff, AR., Ophelia Shelton of Altheimer, AR., Milton Dunlap of Houston, TX., Mary Robinson of St. Louis, MO. and Dorothy Morehead of Altheimer, AR.. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greater Battle Chapel Church (1001 Commerce Rd, Pine Bluff, AR 71601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Second Missionary Baptist Church (110 Myrtle St, Wabbaseka, AR 72175).
