He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Stanton and Patsy Quinn Stanton; his daughter Stacy Stanton Vail; and his siblings, Dewayne Stanton and Ann Formby.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Raff Stanton; his children, Keith Stanton (Patti) of Pine Bluff and Theresa Lacy (Stacy) of Texas; and his brother Jimmy Stanton (Brenda) of White Hall. He is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
