He was predeceased by: his parents, O. A. "Slim" Day and Elsa Love Day; his brother Donald Day, Sr.; his brother-in-law Toney Calabretta; and his daughter-in-law Karen Day.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Ann Bradshaw Day; his children, Chris Day of Springfield, Stacy Owen (Jeff) of Conway, Stephen Day (Shannon) of Glen Rose and Suzanne Carter (Ed) of White Hall; his siblings, Joe Pat Day (Paula) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Sharon Calabretta of Pine Bluff; and his grandchildren, Blake West, Ashley Thacker (Mikel), Georganne Day, Sarah Owen, Adam Day and Brayden Carter (Cloe). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
