It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allie Frisby Gates of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on May 18, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lonnie and Minnie Frisby; her husband Reverend John L. Gates, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Hannah Leann Gates Roberts and Bubba Gates.
She is survived by: her children, Monica Gates, Robert Gates (Pearlleta), Marshall Gates (Rhonda), John L. Gates, Jr., Buddy Gates, Christopher W. Gates (Wendy Brady), Mary Small (Bruce) and Terry Cox; and her sisters, Floyce Waters and Sussie Maxey. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
