He is survived by: his children, David Patterson of California, Starlene Mitchell of Callao and Charles Scott Patterson (Chris) of Benld, Illinois; his half-sister Connie Patterson; and his wife Colleen. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
