She was predeceased by: her daughter Madelyn Lambi; her parents, Madelyn Smith Pickens and R. A. Pickens; her childhood confidant Momma Jonnie Williams; her nephew Jay Pickens; and her close friend Dan.
She is survived by: her friend William; her children, Catherine Lambi of Raleigh and Daniel Lambi of Astoria; her siblings, Andrew Pickens of Pickens, Arkansas and Madelyn Ashman of Little Rock, Arkansas; and her nieces and nephews, Kendall Jacobs, Drew Pickens of Little Rock, Arkansas, Luke Pickens of Phoenix, Arizona and Karen Pickens of Pickens, Arkansas. She is also survived by five great nieces and nephews, and two great-great nephews.
