She was predeceased by: her parents, Lesley Chappell and Bessie Stevens Chappell; her daughter Ruby Lovejoy; and her brothers, Odell of James, J. C., Loyd, Carell and Steve Chappell.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Barrett of Concord, NC, Barbara Moser of Pickens, Daniel Henry of Sanford, NC, Raymond Henry of Easley, Sammy Moser of Pickens and Jimmy Moser of Liberty; and her siblings, Cornelia Lynch of Easley and Donnie Chappell of Liberty. She is also survived by her husband and parents.
