She was predeceased by: her husband Herschel D. Whitlock; her parents, Claude Owen and Lillian Johnston Owen; and her daughter Denise Gilstrap. She is survived by: her daughters, Tamara Gollach (Jim) of Liberty, Becky Bagwell (Poss) of Liberty and Suzanne Koon (Randy) of Mountain Rest; her son-in-law Robin Gilstrap of Pickens; her brothers, Rev. Allen Owen of North Charleston, Herschel Owen (Shelba) of Liberty and Leonard Owen of Liberty; and her grandchildren, Terry Fowler, Carrie Sutherland, Daniel Koon, Elizabeth Sturkie, Aaron, Evan Gollach, Kyle and Neil Gilstrap. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
