He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Johnson and Velma Butts-Johnson; his wife Kathleen "Kat" Kay Johnson; and his sons, Scott Johnson and Greg Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, David "Brent" Johnson of Pettigrew and Dianne Winkler; his grandchildren, Carley and Alyssa; his daughter Tami Herrin; and his grandchildren, Brandon Gulledge, Colby, Clint Marshall and Tyler Smith.
