It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Byers of Pettigrew, Arkansas, born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Swafford and Elizabeth Swafford; and her brothers, Bobby, Bill and Jack Swafford.
She is survived by: her sons, Bucky Wayne Byers of Pettigrew, Stacy Demps Byers of Pettigrew and Albert Justin Chadwell of Lincoln; and her siblings, Joe (Missy Swafford), Rita (Rick Grigsby), Cindy Shepard of Coal Hill and Louise (Jack Flaherty).
