He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rushin Sr and Lillie Frances Adcock Rushin; his son James Rushin; and his siblings, Stanley Rushin, Thelma Smith and Christine Underwood.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Rushin of Perryville; his daughters, Patricia Vandiver (Monty) of Nimrod and Carol Dobbins (Steven) of Perryville; and his daughter-in-law Maribra Sorrows (Rick) of Cabot. He is also survived by Three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
