He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Lee and Betsy Evelyn Hall Campbell; his spouse Connie Mac Shepard; his children, Doug Campbell (Michele) of Oskaloosa, KS and Lawon Evelyn Campbell of Edmond, OK; and his grandchildren, Michael Campbell, Nathan Campbell and Danele Kilpatrick. He was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
