He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Welch and Thelma Thomas Welch; his daughter Cheryl Riddle; and his siblings, Thelma Lee Lilleston and David Welch.
He is survived by: his son Patrick Welch (Jenneal) of Nimrod; his brother Jerry Welch of Washington; his brother-in-law Bob Lilleston of Arizona; and his grandchildren, Kathy Jarvis (Jason) of Center Ridge, Amy Maranto (Chris) of Malvern, Jessica Austin (Andy) of Conway, Lauren Ernzen (Josh) of Texas and Layla Welch of Nimrod. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Nimrod Baptist Church (5782 AR-60, Perryville, AR 72126-8646).
