She is survived by: her husband Jim Nelson; her daughter Susan Hopkins; her grandchildren, David and Melissa Creel; and her great grandchildren, Heather Izard, Tara Terry and Danielle Williams (Taylor). She is also survived by 8 great-great-grandchildren.
