He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin "Buddy" Marvin Brooks Sr. and Clara Elmore-Brooks; his siblings, Doyle Brooks, Jim Brooks and Dorothy Brooks; and his grandson Brooks Hawkins.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Miller-Brooks of Perryville; his daughter Jamie Brooks-Hawkins (Merlin) of Perryville; his grandchildren, Erik Hawkins (Ginny) of Danville and Tracie Washam (Jerry Mathis) of Morrilton; his great grandchildren, Alex, Evan, Kayleigh, Grady, Benjamin and Lennon; and his sister Bonnie Brooks-Sharp of Little Rock. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
