He is survived by: his parents, Luther Brotherton and Marie Brotherton (Shaver); his siblings, Lena Parkin (Ora) of Herod, Illinois, Randy Brotherton (Maurine) of Charleston, Ferris Brotherton (Teresa) of Peel, Arkansas and Earl Brotherton (Julia) of Savannah, Georgia; and his friend John Hughes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
