He was predeceased by: his parents, Erval O. Hatcher and Ella Mae Sigler Hatcher; his grandchild Amias Averett; and his siblings, Jerry Hatcher, Woody Hatcher, Terry Hatcher, Billy Hatcher, Mitchell Abney, Diane Welch and Gale Abney.
He is survived by: his children, Amie Hatcher (Christian) of Pearcy, Jason Hatcher of Walker and Nathan Hatcher of Prairieville, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Kaylus Jones, Jalen Jacob and Adam Hatcher; his great grandchildren, Hayden Jones and Ava Jones; and his siblings, Johnny (Susan Hatcher), Curtis (Cathy Hatcher), Ronnie (Grace Hatcher), Paul (Robin Hatcher), Junior Hatcher of Baton Rouge, Vicky Hughes of Dutchtown, Hope (Gilbert Vincent), Dolly Hatcher of Natchez, Sible Clark of Baton Rouge and Thresa (Carl Brown). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends.
