He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lephly Beard and Martha Jane Jones Beard; and his siblings, Harold Beard, Thurma Rozar, Era Mabry, Vida Marler, Rowena Wells, Ada Davenport, Annette Alderson and Bernice Beard.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Jo Beard; his sons, Jeff Beard (Carla) of Sonora, Ark and Greg Beard (Kathy) of Crestview, Florida; his brother Clint Beard of Lowell; and his grandchildren, Matt, Jessica, Desiree, Zach, Amy, Dakota, Mack, Olivia and Kenzley "Pee Wee". He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, extended family.
