He is survived by: his mother Barabra Tilton; his husband Carlos Hernandez; his son Vanyel Cortez; his grandchildren, Alia Cortez and Dante Cortez; and his siblings, Joyce Eskow, James Tilton (Teresa) and Joni Monroe (Randy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
