He was predeceased by: his parents, Jenious Maynard and Zelona Staton Maynard; his son-in-law Douglas VanScoy; and his siblings, Edward Maynard, Clyde Maynard, Vernal Maynard, Lauda Sartin, Molly York, Floyd Maynard and Elias Maynard.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Maynard (Tercero); his children, Carla Guinn (Delvin) of Big Spring, Lisa Woolsey (Wes) of Rogers, AR, Susan Hester (Charles) of Van Buren, AR, Alvis Maynard, Jr. (Leticia) of San Antonio, TX and Karen Fredrickson (David) of Pea Ridge; and his sister Pat Dials of Columbus. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sisco Funeral Home (1312 N Curtis Ave, Pea Ridge, AR 72751). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fayetteville National Cemetery (1000 S Lt Col Leroy Pond Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701).
