He is survived by: his mother Alta Jane Goodson of Ferndale; his wife Barbara Goodson; his sons, Donald Robert Goodson of Adona, Michael Wayne Goodson of Ferndale and John Wesley Goodson of Ferndale; and his siblings, Johnny Goodson (Mickie) of Maumelle, Roy Goodson (Penny) of Ferndale, Debbie Goodson of Maumelle, Pam Goodson of Maumelle and Monica Steed (Jim) of Maumelle. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
