She is survived by: her father Melvin Powell of Plano, Texas; her husband James Schouweiler of Paris; her children, Michele Wells of Paris and Milton Brown of Paris; her stepdaughter Karen Davis of Branch; her siblings, Ester Bates of Fort Smith, Jo Anna Bates of Fort Smith, Barbara Cole of Fort Smith, Torsha Powell of Kansas City, Shannon Powell of Kansas City, Christi McKenzie of Plano, Texas, Melvin Richard of Charleston, Anthony Powell of Kansas City and Delvin Powell of Midway, Texas; her grandchildren, Mackenzie Jackson, Madison Fore, Xavier Brown, Owen Fore, Alyeah Brown, Jaelin Brown, Nicole Brown, Dammien Brown, Draydon Brown, Treyveon Brown, Keon Brown, Destiney Brown and Gracie Wells; and her great grandchildren, Octavia Martin and Ruthlee Smith.
