He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Heft and Mildred Ann Heft (Tucker); his son Dale Heft; and his siblings, Arthur Heft (Norma), Roy Heft, Frederick Heft (Pat), Theodore Heft, William Heft, Edwin Heft (Glenda) and Catherine Heft Bowen (Wallace).
He is survived by: his wife Martha Kay Edwards; his children, Don Heft (Sabrina) of Fayetteville, Marlo Harris (Jody) of Fort Smith and Roberta Warren Heft; his parents-in-law, Roberta Warren Heft, Marlo Harris (Jody) of Fort Smith and Don Heft (Sabrina) of Fayetteville; his grandsons, Sebastian, Spencer Heft, Warren Heft and Josiah Harris; and his siblings, Thomas Heft (Sharon), Emil Dick Heft (Elizabeth), Andy Ray Heft and Anita Kay Heft Johnson (Butch).
