It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Scallions of Paris, Arkansas, born in Luxora, Arkansas, who passed away on August 19, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scallions and Margaret "Maggie" Jewell Scallions Dew (Sorrell); his wife Wanda Scallions; his daughter Missy Stubblefield; and his siblings, Wesley, Odell, Kenneth, Jerry and Peggy Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Churchman (John) of Paris, Sheila Nehus (Xavier) of Benton and Michael Sheridan of Illinois; his son-in-law Alan Stubblefield of Paris; his siblings, Virginia Jones of Texas, Patricia Nelson of Wisconsin, Nova Rosencrans of Florida and Terry Scallions (Linda) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Destini VanMeter, AJ Churchman (Cailey), Tory Bradford (Bryan), Kelly VanMeter (Bryan), Austin Stubblefield (Danielle), Cassie Pruitt (Daniel), Caleb Nehus (Spring), Rebecca Nehus-Flores (Bryan) and Samantha Sheridan. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
