He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Fletcher Sr. and Josephine Fletcher (Litsch); his brothers, Richard Fletcher and John Fletcher; and his sister-in-law Sonja Fletcher.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Fletcher (Robins) of Paris; his children, Cindy Gandy (Tony) of New Blaine and Dr. James William Fletcher III (Ashley) of Jonesboro; his siblings, Carole Becker of Lavaca and Harry Fletcher of Paris; his grandchildren, Amanda Hamilton (Aaron), Rebecca Elsken, Thomas Fletcher (Lili), Lydia Fletcher and Brittany Gandy; and his great grandchildren, James Hamilton and Charlie Fletcher. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (15 S Spruce St, Paris, AR 72855). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church W. Walnut (15 S Spruce St, Paris, AR 72855). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Smith National Cemetery (522 Garland Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72904).
