He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Rainwater and Nora Rainwater (Thomas); and his siblings, Ben Rainwater, Jerry Rainwater, Betty Brassard and Alice Rainwater.

He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Rainwater (Pang) and Crystal Rainwater; and his sisters, Linda Domerese, Mary Smith and Patty Podvin (Reed). He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
