He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Herman Bennett and Margaret Ann Bennett (Chiaborel). He is survived by: his wife Catherine Bennett (Davidson); and his children, Vicki Russell, Leslie Bennett, Alicia Breedlove, Vanessa Arnold, James Carter, Jr. and Jason Bennett. He is also survived by grandchildren; and (3) great-grandchildren.
