We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2024, at the age of 87, Walter Leon Johnson (Paragould, Arkansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Johnson; his children, Janet Crow, Belinda Benton and Andrew Wayman; his parents, Freeman Johnson and Theoda Johnson; and his sister Yvonne.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Johnson of Poplar Bluff, David Johnson (Angela) of Madisonville and Julie Benware (Michael) of Lafe. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
