She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Nelson and Mae Nelson (Ciscell); her husband Wendell Gist; and her siblings, Shawn Nelson, Gary Nelson, Larry Nelson and Shannon Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelley Gist (Lee); and her siblings, Terry Nelson, Barry Nelson, Sherry McDaniel and Sheila Brogdon.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mitchell Funeral Home (1520 US 49, Paragould, AR 72450).
